What began as a research on gender fluidity - still a relatively new and emerging conversation at the time - evolved into a public campaign, designed to make conversations around identity more visible and accessible to the citizens of New York City.

The work draws on the structure of how pronouns are taught in school, reinterpreted trough a dynamic visual system of gender symbols. It merges education, design and social advocacy to create an experience that is both informative and thought-provoking.

Developed during my time at the School of Visual Arts, the project was presented to the New York City Commission on Human Rights.
