Hijacking History

Concept & Design

Living in a multicultural country like the Netherlands means history cannot be told from a single perspective.

This book invites you to explore two sides of a historic event, creating a fuller and more balanced understanding of the past. By engaging with different viewpoints, we open the door to greater empathy, respect, and a society with less judgment toward other cultures.

The book itself offers multiple ways of experience. It can serve as a starting point for dialogue when read face to face, encouraging discussion and reflection. Alternatively, it can unfold into a striking nine-meter timeline, allowing history to be seen and experienced as a continuous journey of events.
